The Cebitepal theological center, in partnership with the Latin American Youth Ministry Team and the Center for Pastoral Action Programs and Networks (CEPRAP), announced the opening of registrations for the new online course "Youth Ministry in Synodal Key."

The program will start on September 10, 2026, and will run until November 21, offering a 100% virtual itinerary of 20 academic hours designed to equip young leaders, community coordinators, trainers, and pastoral agents with cutting-edge theological and pastoral tools.

In the context of the Final Document of the Synod on Synodality, this program directly addresses the accelerated challenges faced by youth in Latin America and the Caribbean: cultural changes, digital environments, emotional management, and the search for a meaningful life purpose.

What will each student take away from this formative experience?

The main attraction of the program is its experiential, dynamic, and participatory approach. Unlike traditional theoretical models, those who complete the course will take away:

  • Toolbox for the digital age: Effective keys to evangelize on social media, build identity and presence with ethical purpose beyond the search for likes.

  • Listening and emotional management skills: Competencies to address critical issues of mental health, resilience, and emotional containment in young people immersed in a culture of high noise and anxiety.

  • Transformational servant leadership: Practical strategies for pastoral leadership in the style of Jesus, focused on horizontality, lay co-responsibility, and the eradication of authoritarianism.

  • Comprehensive vision of the person and creation: Frameworks for reflection on affectivity, integral sexuality, and ecological action based on the encyclical Laudato Si’.

  • International Certification: Official accreditation granted by the CEBITEPAL Training Center upon meeting 70% attendance and the program's pedagogical criteria.

Structure and curriculum

The curriculum is distributed over 10 weeks of synchronous classes, 4 masterclasses with international specialists, and 3 forums for participation and community interaction:
