La XI Jornada Mundial de Oración por el Cuidado de la Creación tiene nueva página web. En este sitio estarán disponibles los textos litúrgicos y diversas ideas pastorales para enriquecer las celebraciones, incluyendo el misal de la Eucaristía por el cuidado de la creación, aprobada por el Papa León XIV en 2025.
This day, ecumenically known as the Feast of Creation, has been commemorated since 2015 every September 1st, usually moved to the following weekend.
It was instituted by Pope Francis for the universal Church and is inspired by an ancient liturgical tradition of the Eastern Church, according to which September 1st symbolizes the act of the creation of the world.
Therefore, this new website collects useful resources to support the liturgical celebrations of this very special day and at the same time offers training resources to understand the importance of this ecumenical celebration and the practical aspects of how to celebrate the new mass.

This year, the theme chosen by Pope Leo XIV for the prayer day on September 1st is: «They shall beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks» (Is 2:4).
The website was the result of a joint effort, integrated by the Latin American and Caribbean Episcopal Council (Celam), Federation of Asian Bishops' Conferences (FABC), Council of European Bishops' Conferences (CCEE), Symposium of Episcopal Conferences of Africa (SECAM).
Along with them, the Union of Superiors General (USG), International Union of Superiors General (UISG), World Union of Catholic Women's Organizations (WUCWO), Laudato Si’ Movement, Laudato Si’ Institute, Don Bosco Green Alliance, Focolare Movement, Catholic Climate Covenant, and CADEIO.
The organizers hope that these new resources can serve as support for parishes and Catholic communities, while other Christian churches also celebrate this day with new liturgical formats.
Ultimately, it is about "unity in diversity," celebrating this very special day with various liturgical modalities.
