The Salesian Inspectorate of Mary Help of Christians in Seville (Spain) has commemorated the twentieth anniversary, with the birth of Saint John Bosco, of its portal quierosersanto.com, this August 16.
This website aims to bring young people closer to Jesus, help them learn about the lives of the saints, and provide resources to live and share the faith. It was created in 2006 as a response to the desire to evangelize young people in these digital spaces.
According to Sergio Codera, founder of the platform, the project was consolidated thanks to the support of the Inspectorate to offer resources adapted to new generations.
Father Codera noted that this website “seeks to help young people discover that holiness is a personal calling.”
Through this proposal, the congregation has constantly sought new languages to communicate this message, integrating into the everyday reality of its recipients.

On the occasion of Don Bosco's birthday, this August 16, the portal has begun a new stage.
This renewal seeks to transform the space into a more dynamic meeting point, focused on education in faith through interactive tools and digital libraries.
The site will incorporate materials for catechists, the proposal of the Virtue of the Month, and content about young saints.
The portal will maintain classic Salesian resources, such as the “Good Nights,” but integrating them with creative activities and multimedia content designed for the current environment.

The adaptation to the digital environment responds to Don Bosco's original intuition, who emphasized the importance of being present in the places where young people coexist.
The proposal emphasizes that, although platforms change, the need for accompaniment and listening remains unchanged.
Codera argues that evangelizing today means being present and giving testimony online. With this vision, the project looks to the future, maintaining the conviction that announcing the Good News of God to the digital world is indeed possible.
